The Marvellous Tearoom is now open!

The Marvellous Tea Room is situated on the ground floor of Birds Yard, 83 Kirkgate, Leeds. (Opposite The Duck & Drake pub)

On first stepping foot in The Marvellous Tea room, it is clear to see that The Tea Ladies have spent many happy hours scouring the North of England for precious vintage treasures.
All the retro furniture has been up-cycled using beautiful vintage fabrics & vibrant recycled paints & the walls are decorated with a stunning collection of kitsch vintage prints.
Each delicious slice of homemade cake is served on a vintage plate, in fact all our food is homemade and all our china is vintage.
We serve a selection of speciality teas, proper coffee and homemade lemonade too.

In the Corner of The Tea Room we have an original 1950s record player and a random selection of records for you to play & enjoy.
The tea ladies flit between tea making and Dj-ing!
We also have a pick and mix retro sweet shop and a pile of old fashioned board games.

If you want an analogy, think of this Marvellous Tea Room as being Betty’s silly, giddy, yet still conscientious, punk rock little sister!
She may live at the cheaper end of town but she knows how to have fun without letting the standards slip.
